Athletics

All youth at Saint Raphael Parish are invited to join a variety of sports organized in cooperation with the Diocese of Cleveland CYO.  Athletics at St. Raphael is a volunteer-supported program and only succeeds because of the generous volunteers who offer their time and knowledge.  Please consider becoming a volunteer for one of our teams. Contact any of the coaches listed below or the Athletic Director. All athletes must have an up-to-date physical on file with St. Raphael Athletics.   • Who can register?

    Athletes must be a registered St. Raphael Parishioner or School Student.


  • How do I register?

    Register for all sports through SportsPilot.  Be sure to enter the grade the athlete will be in at the time the sport is being played. 


    • e.g. for Fall sports, use the grade the student will be going into in the Fall of that year


    Youth from neighboring parishes that do not offer a specific sport may join the St. Raphael team for that sport by completing and having approved the Eligibility Request Form (E.R.F.). The E.R.F. must be signed by the Athletic Director at your home parish and then sent to the Athletic Director at Saint Raphael.

    Fall Sports

    • Football
    • Volleyball (Girls)
    • Cross Country
    • Cheerleading
    • Registration Ends June 22, 2025


    Winter Sports

    • Basketball (Boys and Girls)
    • Registration: TBA - Generally Sept/October

    Spring Sports

    • Track and Field
    • Volleyball (Boys)
    • Registration: TBA - Generally Jan/February

  • Can I register after the deadline?

    Most teams DO NOT allow late registration unless additional athletes are required to fill a shortage on a team. 


    Please contact the head of your specific sport, or the Athletic Director for more detailed information or questions. 


    In the event that a team is accepting a late registration, a late fee is usually applied. 


  • Coaches - How do I request a check?

    Coaches may complete the google form below to request a check for tournament entry fees, or referee fees. Questions regarding checks should be directed to the Saint Raphael Athletic Commission Treasurer, here.
